  • do you need to view in darkness, can you use multiple cameras? Also do you not need to modify the lcd screen (assuming there is no FFC issue), as in, just put camera in place with other computer components, open up app and work? Me confuzzled. Do you need IR leds around edge either? Many thanks, good work.

  • @Owener94: Not exactly in total darkness. With CCV 1.3 from nuigroup, u can use multiple cameras. I didnt modify my LCD and my LCD doesnt have FFC issue, I just disassemble the LCD and put accordingly to fit the table. If you use FTIR method, then you have to put IR LEDs around the acrylic edges.

  • wouldn't be better to just be stupid like everyone else and buy an iPad?

  • @drakesolar: iPad is nice and I like it too. I would like more the things that I constructed myself :D

  • @crunksamm I would also like to know this!!

  • Really bad hardware specs, a little more power should make it even more responsive, still nice work.

  • @crunksamm: Yes, I just bought a LCD monitor (Samsung 740N), and disassemble it. You need to know which LCD have no FFC issue (mine dont have), check the LumenLab LCD database to see which LCD monitor have no FFC issue.

  • @alextan87 So you just bought an LCD screen? or is that something that I need to look into and research as well...

  • @crunksamm: From what I know so far, FTIR table can be constructed using projector or LCD screen. It is possible to build one without using projector, which is using LCD screen as what I done.

  • @klautfritz: You can get those from softmt. com
