After so many years the old,but wonderful Planetarium is facing it's end.
The McLaughlin Planetarium is a former working planetarium whose building occupies a space immediately to the south of the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, at 100 Queen's Park.

Considering what images Hubble is producing of the thousands of universes in the sky, what a terrible time to close the Planetarium down when space is becoming more and more amazing. What they could have shown us in the planetarium would have been more than spectacular. It is a tragedy, and a huge mistake by somebody

I can't believe they closed it down! I was just telling my daughter about the amazing school trips to this planetarium back in the 70's. I can still remember it, after all these years, and it was awesome! How stupid of the government to cut the funding to it! It was so educational for kids and adults alike.

I am quite bitter to this day over the loss of this wonderful and educational resource. I probably visited the planetarium between 10 and 20 times a year when I was a teenager living in Toronto. I really miss the place.
