Rambling shyte? Are you serious? ATP is a beautyfully written novel in so many ways. Not least in how he presents his caracters and their personalies by way of how they speak and think and in how they view the world. Rydell, Chevette, Fontaine, Konrad and the others - he brings them to life. This is a narrative master at his best.

  • Ever considered that it might have something to do with the recording, or your audio device? Always these absurd musings about the "gods".

  • Listening to William Gibson talk is difficult. I think he mainly communicates through his writings and does not care to much to make himself understood in interviews which is ok by me. Just because I like what he does, does not mean he owes me anything. Just to let you know that you that you are not alone in not understanding what he actually says or having difficulties to concentrate on his voice.

  • Old Bill does a lot o' drugs.

Its just the way he is.

I mean, if you have ever read All Tomorrows Parties, its just a trip transcribed. Gibson is great on acid, but sadly, he can get very confused and some of his stuff is just rambling shyte.

  • Hardly to understand.
