How not to do passwordless logins via ssh

This solution is not secure, nor is it supported. However, if you have several computers and you are the only user, you can indeed set them up to use the same private key. Do not use this hack if you have users on your network that you do not trust.

Just a little question, when I create a secure shell key in seahorse and skip the passphrase section it just creates a new key but dont ask me for password and host.

Anyone can help?

I use linux mint 5 and seahorse 2.22.2.

hes using it on a mac, which is a whole other system, so if they took the time to configure it to a mac, then they must of took the time to configure it to vista and XP.
