Was just trying to mess around with 6C[m] to see how much damage I could do without use of a DD.
I haven't gotten it to work on Nu, Noel, Tager, Carl, Hakumen or Tao.
Inputs:
6C[m](1 or 2 hits), cancel into Chun, 5B, Tsubame, JB, dj.B, j.C, falling j.C, 6C, Tsubame, 6C~
4200 damage.

  • the only problem is that 6c[m] has a windup time and is an unreliable poke, often you'll get punnished for using it and whiffing or it getting blocked. it is a great combo and i messed with it and found my own varriation of it, but that 6c[m] is not a great combo starter. if there were a way to combo into 6c[m], we'd have a great combo on our hands.

  • Yeah it's mainly used as just a CH. The amount of times I ever use it are so minimal it's not really worth it. But it's still fun to mess around with :3

  • oh yea, i tried putting it to use in a few ranked matches, i was punished so hard for trying it that my win ratio went down by 1%, though i did find a nice little half screen combo that works from everywhere(except if the enemy isnt already in a corner) because of it using 41236d c as the setup into chun (land) hatsu, chun, haku (haku wont hit on tager and i think rachel.)

  • Oh thats cool as and can you continue it after that haku?

  • however i dont feel that its worth 50% of your heat gauge. to add on an extra 500 or less damage.

  • okay if you do hatsu late enough that it just barely hits them, you can rapid cancel the last chun and continue the combo, i made it do around 3355 damage (tried it on jin)

    so its

    (extremely close) 5b > 5c (1 hit) > itsuuC > chun > (less than half second pause) > Hatsu > chun > Rapid cancel as soon as chun hits > 5b > 9 > jb > jb > jc > hatsu > chun > 63214 b (optional retreat)

or instead of the 5b after chun hits, you can go into an immediate 6c haku hatsu chun for 3453

  • actually, upon further testing (always hit in training mode), haku doesnt hit unless they decide not to tech.

though i will be experimenting with canceling the last chun to see if its possible to combo further; however, even if you can, the combo will be heavily affected by portrating. ah portrating, making infinite combo's that that much more worthless.

  • Ahh I see yeah. After doing ItsuuC I usually go chun, 2C, JB, dj.B, C, D~, dash C etc.

  • bah, another itteration.

i always retreat after this back to my staff and with 63214b, if you're somewhere near it, you'll finish that move, otherwise just throw it at them with D and go in for another rush down. they should be near the corner anyway.

  • um, test it out because i always mix up haku and hatsu, assume that hatsu is 236b and haku is 236a

  • unfortunately no you cant, when haku lands (its the end of the "three dragons"), and the enemy insta-techs if they arent stupid. beware if opponents who will forward tech towards you because if you don't start blocking immediately, you may be screwed.
