  • Jon Tester represents out of state interests and the Democratic party rather than the people of Montana.

  • WALLSTREET WALLSTREET WALLSTREET WALLSTREEEEEEEEEEET

  • I think the fact that Lehman Brothers was not bailed out, is perhaps criminal! How are these decisions made and what determines the worth of one company over the other?

Its my hunch that Lehman Brothers had not been infiltrated by the Bush family, or perhaps refused to participate in some type of criminal activity. I think as time passes on, and the family tree can be established, you will find that Lehman operated outside of the sphere of influence and is why they were allowed to collapse.

  • "Referee" That is a really good metaphor, and a great comeback to any total free-market, "regulations are bad" argument.

  • I'm sure glad my privatized social security didn't get effected in this Wall Street debacle!!!

  • Reference books are elitist.

  • I could use a bailout. Half a billion would do nicely.

  • Why not thank books on economics?
