I just starting collecting silver coins, or investing. I have so far, Ike centennial, 2012 Silver eagle, 3 postmasters of america sterling silver .8 ounce coins. 7 1964 half dollars, and 7 pre 64 quarters. How would you guys rate this so far?

Your silver collection puts me to shame! Ironically, I shouldn't feel that way. Mike Maloney said that if the entire silver supply was divided evenly among every single person on this planet, everyone would have 1/14 of an oz of silver. How ironic is that!

@c02pistolman Not at all. But first understand why you're investing in it. Understand what fiat currency is and how it is made. Right now the spot price of silver is around £18 an ounce that isn't bad at all. It went down. Me personally I'd still buy silver even if the spot price was to reach £40 an ounce. And I won't sell. Hold onto it until the right time.

I've got one ounce bullion rounds, and now I'm buying silver dimes. I'm not selling until retirement, no matter what price fluctuations we go through.

If you want .9999 coins the the 'Guernsey Mint' have them, and aren't taxed locally so they're pretty cheap.

I've bought hundreds of oz near the top a few months back, but still holding on to those. Gonna sell when I retire anyways. Now that prices are low it's a great way for latecomers and newbies to get into the game! Cheers!
