I just did that, although made things smell bad in the process. Not sure if my Kilpsch amp couldn't handle it, or the hard drive itself couldn't handle the power I was putting into it. Either way, it worked. As far as how, it takes a little electronics knowledge. Just jack the stereo output to the voice coil input. I recommend disconnecting the drive's own voice coil circuits somehow as well if you're trying this. Especially if you'll be running the drive while it's playing.
To proof your videos are real, all you have to do next time is to sand your face with that spinning hard drive disk. If your face burns off, then I'll believe you
