There is no doubt that rifles and food storage are very important to the wise prepper. Often overlooked items like soap, shampoo, deoderant, socks, underwear, floss and the like are easily obtainable now. When the shtf happens these items will probably still be available but at a substantial higher cost. The CEO of Wal-mart has said that these items are going to greatly increase in price. So we are bugeting this stuff now rather than paying more for it in the future. It would be a good idea to stock up on this stuff for our friends, family and neighbors that have been told of what may come but refuse to even entertain the idea.

  • I agree , i have been couponing for just over a year and got alot of health and beauty items like your showing here for almost FREE...haven't had to buy buttwipe for a year..lol

Now I need to work on growing my food and canning!! Look forward to learning more from your videos!!

  • @prepperchickie Couponing is definetly the way to go ! I hope that we can all learn something together. Thanks.

  • i say get a dust mask and a fixed blade knife and a swiss army or leatherman tool. also a screwdriver with bits is also good. i liked ur vid

  • @coolpixs8100 Those are good suggestions that we can all add to our preps. Thanks.

  • Thank you, good video, down to earth stuff. I used to pack clothes and things just for power outages and tornadoes.

  • @ava7awa Thank you for the nice comment.

  • LoL, I see you got an extra bra for the wife! Thumbs up for you from a woman! =D

  • The bandana *is* important. Tourniquet, pot-holder, gas mask, head cover, cleaning rag, bag, kneepad, etc. I'd rather carry 1 bandana than 7+ items I might need in an emergency, or for mundane use. Also- you don't have to stock up on cleaners if you use basic baking soda, vinegar and extra virgin olive oil... all of which you'd need for food preparation. Prep? Sure. But SIMPLIFY.
