I was thinking about getting a Corgi but I do not know much about their behavior. Are they easily trainable?

I made the mistake of leaving a pizza box on the coffee table. Went to take a shower, came back, pizza box was on floor...closed, mind you. Needless to say I had two full corgis looking at me like hey you left it where we could get it...

One of my dogs one time, jumped up on the table and managed to knock a plate over and shattered a plate! Boy was my mom mad!
