Story: A lightsaber fight sequence with the flavor of a Hong Kong martial arts action movie. This short is set in a dense forest of an unknown planet, where a young Jedi, eager to fight to help the Revolution, clashes with a Sith Lord in a battle where only one will remain standing. Music by Hans Zimmer, and a monologue extracted from an authentic Civil War love letter written in 1861, help to set the tone for this movie.
A Ho Brothers Film
Directed by: Clarence Ho
Starring:
Cary Ho......................Jedi Knight
Calvin Ho...................Sith Warrior
This is one of the reasons I have lost some respect for George Lucas. There are EXCELLENT WRITERS like Cary and Calvin out there that actually LOVE the STAR WARS story to create something new, yet keep to the heart and spirit of the storyline. I do understand that what Lucas has created in episodes one through six, as well as the CLONE WARS anime, is by HIS vision and decision on what he wanted, but to say "no" to ANYONE who would show the ability to make an Episode seven is not wise to me.

While it has some issues, this is easily one of the best Star Wars fan films out there Most notable to me was their attention to continuity. This was filmed over days, yet they kept the lighting stable throughout the film. This shows a dedication to filmmaking that makes this much more than "two guys messing around with After Effects"
