Actually - palestine is only Gaza area up to Ashdod. No west bank.

This historically has been the case for about 500 years prior to Israel.

Palestians were given a chance for peace when Israel pull all their settlers out of Gaza and GAVE to palestians. So palestians turn around and elect Hamas on the promise to destroy Israel - then launch rockets.

It was THEN a blockade was put in place.

And Palestians continue to claim they want peace-

@STHFGDBY Oh for sure - out of the two armies the Germans were far better supplied and trained than any other participant in the entire war.There is in any case NO question that if the US refused the UK's request for help then by 1941 the British would have had to capitualate - there are many who feel that should have happened in the first place! Obama is completely out of his depth regarding Israel - his twice humiliation at the hands at Netanyahu is simply evidence that he is a lightweight.

@revol148 Well first the British and German armies were not a match for each other, it was circumstances that gave the British a fighting chance like the Channel and the American supply and intervention. I agree with you about the USA and Israel but Obama made it quiet clear recently that his support of Israel's defence is unshakeable. God knows why, pure hypocrisy on their behalf. @STHFGDBY so rather like the well meaning people including Tibetan exiles who hold a candle lit vigil outside the Chinese embassy in London every week? - I have huge understanding BUT unlike WW2 as you mentioned the British v German armies were at least a match for each other - the same can't be said for the situation in Palestine.Israel (will) only ever listen to the US and even then due to the power of AIPAC doesn't even seem to do that anymore - look at the twice public humiliation of Obama.
