http://bit.ly/feB7wA Dubspot Instructor and Ableton Certified Trainer Mike Hatsis shows you how to route audio from Ableton Live into Native Instruments Maschine in the first part of this two-part video tutorial focusing on the synchronization and creative possibilities of using Live and Maschine. Routing audio from Live provides a great opportunity for editing and fine-tuning audio loops and samples, and you can also warp and sync samples. In part one, Hatsis explains and demonstrates how you send audio from Live into Maschine while Maschine as a plugin inside of Live. Stay tuned for part two, in which Hatsis delves further into the editing and slicing options inside of Maschine.

  • hi ! how do you accept the audio from Live in Maschine ??? at 2:05 ???

  • hI gREAT vID.I have done as you have said but its not picking up the sound.how do i get the machine on a channel. from 1.40 in u have drop down menu were u can select machine.how do i make this possible to select machine at this point...HELP :)

  • U know if u wanna use the warp in Ableton then sample. Just put the sample in a clip, adjust ur warp points, the right click and set up a sampler. All the warp points will be chopped up and assigned chromatically. It's much fast, easier and u don't have to resample it with another program. Plus u can always u Maschine as a plug in FX for their effects if u want

  • Thank you for putting this video series up, as it has helped me a lot.

  • @DJjbrish did u manage to get this working and fixed because I'm running into the same problem?

  • @DubSpot… Maschine doesn't seem to be in perfect sync with Ableton while using it as a plugin. When I it play in Ableton my Kick drum on the 1 doesn't sound or play…. Ableton will begin it's playback on the second beat….. Can anyone help with this?

  • Great works fine here thanks dude.

  • Great works fine here thanks dude.

  • Someone help me with this cause when I have ableton live and Maschine open, I go into an empty audio channel in ableton and looking to select Maschine for the output its not there.

I'm trying to get this so I can quickly sample in maschine, take the audio and dump it into ableton, edit and warp it, and then send it back into maschine.

  • Ohhh, his name is Hatsis because he wears hats!
