That's exactly how I felt! I was kind of sad that they veered away from it,though I loved the friendship of Gabby&Xena of course.I just loved the Ares/Xena dynamic b/c they were sort of mirrors of each other. Ares brought a dimension to Xena that she needed to have,b/c though she wanted &needed to change and be a better person, there was a part of her that needed to be satiated ¬ so perfect. With Gabby there were conditions & expectations. Plus the chemistry bet. Kevin&Lucy was HOT HOT HOT!!!
