helicopters droping neutron absorbers and other chemiclas in to the reactor core the pilots flew into a plume of radioactive dust and particles and soon after died dispite there valiant effort almost no neutron absobers and other chemicals got into the reactor

@kaisersouse Maybe the Air in the Chernobyl Area isnt anymore radioactive but the ground is still so high radioactive.

@Videomakera Because I understand how radioactive isotopes function, and that area isn't glowing hot w/ radiation any more. You can actually spend a few hours there and be okay. There are ~ 1000 people still working at Chernobyl while they go through the decommissioning process (scheduled to end ~ 2034). Its nowheres near as bad as it was a week after meltdown. Most radiation levels decay 50% within days or weeks.
