Erasure - Live In Wonderland (part 1)

Part one (of four). This is the first two songs of the show: Pistol and Heavenly Action.

Very nice early club gig with Erasure. Pro-shot filmed at a venue called "Karlsson" in Stockholm Sweden, the date is 08th august 1986. Never broadcasted on national TV, prehaps for promo or local TV only? Not complete live set but non the less exelent.

Yeah, Andy's dancing is suspect. But Vince's music was complimented by Bell's voice. He has a great voice, not one that has to be overdubbed a thousand times. My girlfriend pointed this out to me in the 80's and she was right. His voice doesn't miss many notes.

Thanks so much for posting these! This is the first and only time I've seen "Pistol" performed live. Great vintage stuff from around the time I first started listening to Vince and Andy.

, those early synths have a sound like moultan lava . simple six trax . please god he returns to that simple , less but more kind of a sound because those soft synths sound a bit light . time to rev up the old expander , moogs , arps,sequentials, and get the finger out . i love it regardless but erasure can sound unique if they want to .or a new yazoo album would be great to kick start that raw sound again ? what do u think people

I saw these 2 guys before they made it big and the atmosphere at these concerts were electifying(Wonderland and The Circus)...it was a close knit feeling and everyone was into the same thing....fantastic!!!........a­nd yes,as another YouTube user on here said,"they were more fun in the day"...I'm glad I was there 1st time around even if it DOES show my age,lol...
