  • You want us to CARE about the physically harmless method that we use to interrogate our enemies who want nothing more than to see us EXTERMINATED???

  • I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Iraq come out & fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

  • I think this exhibit is fine as it is a form of expression. And if nothing else, it underlines the difference between a pail of water and the sharp edge of a steel knife.

  • Even if waterboarding isn't 100% effective, I'm going to always opt for the chance that it will. And if it saves even ONE life, then I say WATERBOARD THEM ALL!!!

  • obviously i'd want to get the information out of them whatever the cost regardless of whether or not i was doing the right thing. putting the ethics aside though, i still have read and heard many times that torture is ineffective for getting information out of people as it will make them say anything whether its true or not.

  • First of all, I don't blindly go along with public opinion simply because it's "patriotic". I made up my mind on this issue, after weighing pro's and con's, years ago! If someone told you that they had a suspected terrorist in custody and that this suspect probably had information which could result in another 9-11, and that your MOTHER was in a building that would be a target of that...WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

  • Are you forgetting that we have enemies who want nothing more than to completely DESTROY us?? Most soldiers agree that water-boarding and other non-life threatening modes of interrogation are not only neccessary, but it can make the difference between living or dying. There are also a lot of people who don't even consider this torture! Ask our enemies what THEIR definiton of torture is. I'm sure you'd rather be interrogated by US instead of THEM! Wake the hell up!

  • well my cousins actually a us soldier and he agrees with me. the point is that waterboarding isnt even a useful method for extracting information so it wouldnt help anyone. the UN and many organisations across the world as well as many people you probably blindly admire totally condemn the use of torture. you seem pretty sold on torture, but how about one day, on one issue, you make up your own mind, instead of just blindly accepting what your told and thinking that it makes you 'patriotic'

  • Like I give a CRAP about possible future psychological damage done to water-boarded terrorists who want to exterminate Americans? Yeah, I'll give a crap when YOU talk to the victim's families of 9-11 & tell them that you have more regard for the "feelings" of terrorists than you do for patriots of this country! Tell a U.S. Soldier that his hard work & bravery mean NOTHING to you because you are more worried about "possible future psychological damage" to our ENEMYS! Go suck SHIT, DOUCHEBAG!

  • actually experts ave shown it can cause long term psychological damage like getting panic attacks when it rains years later. it is also accepted by lots of ppl including ex cia members that waterboarding and other torture methods are inefficent as theyll make people admit to anything, in fact it has in the past, like the guy who admited bin laden had a nuclear bomb for example. i dont know much about it, but you seem to know fuck all

  • a lot of people are missing the satirical part of this

  • This is great. Now all they need is an attraction where they have bloated black robots floating around in brakish water and call it "The Katrina Experience."
