Joe Holt - Moonglow

Captured this video while recording the radio show http://www.joeholtsnotes.com/Radio.htm for 2/3/08. Having been steeped in Benny Goodman (era) music during my "formative jazz years", this is a familiar toon, and most comfortably performed at this modest stride tempo. Teddy Wilson (who I do not claim or purpose to play as, only that he was an early influence on me) would probably never performed on the electronic keyboard, but you take what you have.

At the young age of 16 (53 years ago) this was my favorite song, I believe it was by George Cates,,I have sat here listening to your version, (it's wonderful) and oh how I have enjoyed! Thank you!!!
