EDIT: I'm now back into developing the system. This old system is utter crap compared to the new one! I'll post a video of the new system as soon as I get animations up and running again.

Here's a demonstration of the planetoid gravity system for my Sonic fangame. It's just like Mario Galaxy; get close enough to a planet, and you'll be able to walk along it. This form of gravity is one of two; the other allows for more oblong shapes.

Please share your thoughts, criticism, or even suggestions!

  • @MaroxXIIIproductions Heheh, although I can never work on it these days, I do pride it on having fixed a control problem before Mario Galaxy 2 came along and fixed the one from the original.

  • @KyubiNarutoUzumaki Sadly I'm still a complete dunce when it comes to online stuff. I understand the basic idea of sending data packages, but I don't know how to set up a good structure for it with games.

  • @pikazomboe Unity 3D game engine handles all the technical, background stuff. After that, it's 3D modeling and animation, and C# scripting. Both are very difficult hobbies to get into, but can be quite rewarding.

    Now if only I had more time to do more of this stuff...

  • @TuahShinguru Remember that unless you strip out the Sonic-related assets first you won't be able to release this commercially.
