Hollow Point (2005)

It's just another day on the job for two undercover cops when terrorists start a bombing campaign in the city. A kidnapping, a ransom demand and an Internal Affairs investigation into their conduct leads these two law enforcement officers to a dramatic showdown ...

Hollow Point was filmed in Bristol, UK during 2003 and 2004 and was premièred at the Cube Cinema Bristol on 9th April 2005.

It was mainly filmed on a Panasonic GS5 miniDV camcorder. The film was edited with Adobe Premiere with other work completed in Audacity and The Gimp.

A number of props were made for this film including a fake brick (details on matthawkins.co.uk) and a set of police warrant cards. The police ID tutorial was removed from matthawkins.co.uk after the MET police had a fit of unjustified paranoia.

The film includes what is widely regarded as the best car chase featuring a Honda Accord SR and a Fiat Punto.

Some scenes were filmed in the area which is now the Cabot Circus shopping centre.
