@travislakin komodo dragons are not poisonous it the crap in thire mouth from eating dead things so when they bite you it will get you infected and if not treated it may kill you but not poisonous
-
@minminguy No they just infect the shit out of you when they bite.
-
@needmydatsun Yea those venomous lizards are the gila monster and the beaded lizard which they are a related species.
-
@travislakin Actually there is no such thing as poisonous lizards or snakes, such thing as venomous but not poisonous. Komodo dragons are not venomous they just have deadly bacteria in their saliva.
-
@bigplayray09 i have two bearded dragons and they are great . as long as u interact and hold them alot they are amazing starter pets i tried iguanas and chinese water dragons but bearded dragons are by far my favorite.
-
@nasicornis27 its actually been proven that komodos have poison glands i didn believe it until i watched something bout them
-
@minminguy scientists say that they have a mild venom, but only komodo dragon can kill a human.the effect of monitor lizard´s venom is swelling, localized disruption of blood clotting and pain around the bitten area for a few hours, but it´s not strong enough to kill adult people, but im not sure about kids.

@bigplayray09 get an iguana or maybe a bearded dragon? do your research before buying any kind of lizard to know what they need to eat and how you need to setup their habitat. you will need a large enclosure for any lizard larger than a foot if you want them to be happy.
