WTF: open knife as a felony?! Give me a break! I'm not a criminal myself and I hate them, BUT: before you do harm to anyone else, what you do SHOULD NOT be illegal. Already in an ancient Rome the law was based on presumption of innocence.
Everything should be legal what doesn't infringe other people's freedoms and rights and (what does no harm to others). To carry a knife should be legal. To stab person of threaten with knife should be illegal.
