atleast the animal didn`t suffer. but the I don`t agree with the ritual of the lamb`s blood being distributed to the weapons. as far as I am concerned, Sikhism doesn`t beleive in rituals. if u want to eat meat, then this is how the animal should be slaughtered. but they killed the animal for another reason in this video

A young goat underwent the mortification of getting killed itself; it distributed its meat among the meat-eaters.

ਆਂਦ੍ਰਹੁਂ ਤਾਰ ਬਣਾਇ ਚੰਮਿ ਮੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ।

Its intestines were made into gut and the skin was mounted (on drum),stitched.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚਿ ਆਇ ਨਾਦ ਵਜਾਇਆ।



Now it is brought in the holy congregation where melody is produced on this instrument.
