@cybercobra2 How ever, infantry support would be best for a Mech, even if it did have strong armor it would be a huge target on the battlefield. They also could be used as body guards for high ranking officers, or even given to anti terrorist groups like GSG9.
One would only deploy a Mech in an urban environment, any where else is suicidal.
I can see a huge successful mech development though and very cost effective. If using Graphene and carbon nano-tubes and titanium springs

@cybercobra2 Oh no the last part was a joke. (I'm sick of how we have to deal with a character limit.)

@Darkninja282 if that was a joke: XD

@cybercobra2 It would be for infantry support wouldn't it... ha its on wheels!

The cheapest alternative is always the used alternative. I don't think for along time this won't be a very practical technology until it is able to climb rocky crags and mountains.

Until they get these things to actually move without looking like a drunk metal chicken, using wheeled vehicles will be so much more practical.
What happens if it falls over? I mean, I saw a bunch of Ewoks take these things down once, a long time ago....

you guys realize that this is just the beginning right? Think of how far we've come in video games along so the early-mid 90's to now. It's incredible. Same for medical technology. Give it 10.. 15.. 20 years, who knows, eventually they'll get these actually lifting their feet. for now shuffling isn't that bad. I'm impressed so far.
