Mitch... being sportsmanlike is fine up to a point, but the Artemis capsize was a helm error. Period. A face plant in a wave front while bearing away is the fault of the guy steering the boat. Bearing off to quarter a threatening wave loses you some ground, but that beats being upside down, doesn't it?

Not very good work from the sound engineer. In previous regattas, the commentators have drowned out the the talk aboard the boats. This time, the other way around. Too bad, since this race's commentators are much more informative and less excitable.

it's great sailing..do not watch it regularly...so the question is?..WHY did they went back to these light weight catamarans again....I would like to see single hulls racing in higher winds...not these cats...stopping the race cause the waves are too high..or the wind is over 30 knots....?! please be kind and informative with your replies.. not an expert in sailing
