Derek is in love with casey and she feel that way too but she just don't want to acepted and she just deny it... she is trying not to think about derek by dating Sam but they don't get any serious.. while derek is there just waiting.. he knows she loves him thats why he get upset sometimes... cause she tell him she don't love him.. but knows she is not telling the truth... so he keeps on triying and she finaly realize that she do loves him... and she just let things happen..
