the uncle song

As I sat waiting for my second nephew to come, I thought i would reflect on life as an uncle. This is what I came up with.

2000 miles is quite far away
And Im looking at hours to go
Quietly wondering the sight I will see

30 long hours of waiting out here

Wishing the sandman would give some relief
As the cry was finally heard

17 months have now come and then gone
