This is a video showing the first mail catch by the City of San Francisco Streamlined RPO since it left service on October 13, 1967. This event occurred on the Niles Canyon Railway in 2008 during a Steam Event featuring SP 2472.
RPO 5901 is under restoration by the Golden Gate Railroad Museum. The Interior has been outfitted just as it would have looked during active service, and the exterior is currently being restored.
