Christmas In Malibu

Music video for the holiday classic by The Rad Dudes. The song was the brainchild of producer/writer Joe Klein, who wrote the song on the beach in the summer of 1988. The record, produced by Klein along with keyboardist Mitch DeMatoff and music programmer Dale Echnoz, was recorded that fall with a couple of surfers Joe found hanging out on the beach and become a huge holiday hit in 1988 after world-premiering on KIIS-FM in L.A. The music video was shot on Malibu beach in a single day in early December that year after MTV called asking for a video. MTV, along with several other music video channels, ran the video for a few years during the holidays. After fading away in the mid-nineties, the song and the video are back for the world to enjoy again!

lol I remember this song. I've been looking for it off and on for years. Somebody slipped it onto a mix TAPE (yes, tape) that they made for me in 88 or so and I cracked up everytime I heard it.
