Blockade Runner

Blockade Runner is a shooter (with elements of a simulator) released in 1984 by Interphase for the MSX and published by Toshiba-Emi. The object of the game is to run the gauntlet through a blockade of meteors and ufo's (or mines) to deliver supplies to Earth. Later in the game you are attacked by space shuttle like enemies. You are equipped with a force field and missiles to defend yourself.

Interphase only released two other games for the MSX: Aquattack and Sewer Sam.

Blockade Runner was also released for the ZX-Spectrum.
