@Kodiaksaint but was he really a bad guy he wanted to find out who he was why he existed. that his actions doesn't make him bad he could be considered nuetral hes on noones side hes on his own side. if u stand in his way ur a liability in his eyes hes not bad and not good he is in the middle.

I also noticed someone once compare Blackwargreymon to Mewtwo, and I agree: They both were shadows(Of Wargreymon and Mew, respectively) and they weren't/aren't* evil, they were confused and didn't know where they belonged.

*=(Mewtwo's the only one who didn't die. Why Blackwargreymon, why?)

You know why he made a great bad guy?

Because he had real depth.

It wasn't just "I hate everything and I want to destroy it."

The series really took great care to portray his inner struggles as he tried to find the answers to his existence, and finally his own personal "salvation," as it were. Even as a kid i remember sympathizing with him, which is what made Digimon- and all the 90's cartoons- so great.
