Nova shows you how she makes one of her favorite raw snacks with anti-oxidant rich red bell peppers and..... not much else!!!!
All you need is a dehydrator, like the ones sold at discountjuicers.com.
note: if you dehydrates your pepper slices for a longer time , say 48 hours, they will get light and crunchy which is delish, but if you just do them overnight, about 10 hours, you will get a chewy snack which is equally good on a whole different level!!!

  • Please Novalee, mail me some of these. I do not have a food dehydrater. The candy, soda pop, potato chips, wheat gluten chicken egg veggie meat, and refined grains/sugars/foods with artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives, etc. are making me sick, lethargic, and gain weight. Help!

  • @DOTdirtbiker

i am not certified to do mail orders yet but until then, you could trade in the junk for fresh veggie stick snacks like bell pepper, celery, cukes and carrots with a little lycopene-rich tomato salsa (do organic with no sugar added)

    love you lots, nova

  • sounds good i have some peppers coming now so i will try this . have you tried banana peppers?

  • @TnWormsCastings

yes, had some banana peppers last year, in fact i have done it with the over 15 varieties we had in over abundance last season in an effort to preserve them before they went bad since there were so many we could not eat them all fast enough. another way to use them up was juicing them, bell pepper juice is the best ever!!!

  • @TnWormsCastings

perhaps you need to give your taste buds a bit of detox to adjust to healthy foods then, all my raw food friends love these, follow your animals natural draw to good food that nourish the body as nature intended, nova

  • Hi Enovalee. : ) Your simple pepper recipe is a delight. It sounds absolutely delicious!

  • @southrncalifgirl1

its will come on good use wether you are raw or not, but it is not essential, i would pick my blender first, if i could only have one thing, that is all i ever had and used every day through college before i came to work for discountjuicers and i was totally happy with just that
