  • @Grindlebeak You will still need to tear it if you are using it as a whole layer... But you could strip the top layer off to use as a gossamer coverage to make your base more interesting.

  • Brill. Question. I am new to felting. These 'batt' things... Do you use the whole batt to felt or do you tear it up as it should be laid in a cross hatch pattern in layers? Anyone help please? Do you have to use a batt to felt or can I just hand card my scoured fleece?????
