What the hell is it with Japan and creating awesome biological-horror games? Seriously, between this, and Resident Evil, and Silent Hill, you'd think they were all attending "how to suck audiences in and freak them the FUCK out" courses in college.

And can we hurry up and get Parasite Eve remastered for either PS3 or a portable system? I mean c'mon, you can remaster ninety-eleven final fantasies, but not this fucking DIAMOND? What the hell, Squaresoft?

Brings back memories... yeah this is another good one! I spent so many hours playing this game. Having to traverse several floors of the skyscraper at the end was was very frustrating.

Sometimes when i was stuck and wanting to give up after several game overs, i would watch this intro repeatedly and get motivation to play again. I'd usually win after that :D

@NorseViking84 you should see crysis 2, spiderman WOS, Prototype, freedom fighter etc etc.. first thing these games show is.. NYC collapsing..

@NorseViking84 Actually, I think the US is pretty well past that. Yeah games like Propeller Arena got canned because the twin towers were in it etc. but look at Crysis 2 that just came out. Hell, the Statue of Liberty is pretty much gone in that game, but no complaints. Lots of games have NYC getting blown up and destroyed, it's a popular setting. I think that sort of paranoia is largely in the past, with some exceptions. You won't see planes crashing into skyscrapers anytime soon for instance.

@Frieza102 This is just my assumption, but I'm guessing, if approached with the question of re-mastering PE, you would be told "Due to the fact that many of New York's iconic buildings are destroyed or deformed some way in this game we feel it highly insensitive to re-master this game out of respect of the victims of 9/11."

Unfortunately, I don't think my assuption is too far off either. Shame...it's a wonderful game.
