Hanna Winery & Vineyards - A Birds Eye View.

Hanna Winery and tasting room sits on top of a knoll in the beautiful Alexander Valley. Perched from up there on the wrap around veranda, with glass of wine in hand of course, one can see a panoramic view of this lush, abundant & fruitful land. The surrounding vineyards are owned by Hanna and are planted with their flagship Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot. This is but one of four vineyards under Hanna's holdings (600 acres with 252 planted to vines) that make up their 100% Estate Winery.

Hanna got it's start in the early 1970's when Dr. Elias Hanna (a famous cardiac surgeon) bought his first vineyard in the Russian River Valley. He was from Syria originally and was able to pass on the winemaking tradition to his children who now run the family estate vineyards & winery.

Hanna's wines are made with the utmost care by their winemaker Jeff Hinchliffe, who has been making award winning wines for Hanna since 1998. Hanna's wines are sold Nationally but some of their wines are reserved only for Tasting Room visitors. Hint, hint.

Hanna's has three tasting rooms in which to try their wine so no excuses not to go! One is the Mediterranean tasting room in Alexander Valley, which can also be rented our for private parties and is a beautiful place for an anniversary party, reception or corporate affair. Another is in the Russian River Valley on Occidental Rd., and the third is in San Francisco at the Press Club.

Plus, if you're a member of Tastingroomers.com Wine Club and wear your button, Hanna will happily grant you a complimentary tasting.

Beginning April 16th Hanna will be opening their 'Sunsets on the Veranda' season. They will remain open late Thurs. thru Sat. and offer wines by the glass or bottle to be enjoyed while gazing at the sunset from the veranda. Small plates will also be available to compliment your wine.
