@PikaChuBaby91 He's dead... People don't want to adopt scared dogs, they want friendly. The come up to you lick you for a treat dog. And even that behavior is a double edged sword.

@PikaChuBaby91 Also, please realize. Where do the the animals from the no-kill shelters go????????.... Dallas Animal Shelter, and the city puts them down. How's the compassion bug now, ever been to a hoarder house? Every been to a pet cemetary? Pretty close to the same thing. You must understand, people treat animals the way they treat other people. Can you not understand that death is the only option for a mistreated dog? Much like the one that was afraid of you?

@PikaChuBaby91 They were euthanized... they were too old... You never answered my question, and a dog died. Sorry, older dogs have a far lower chance to be adopted, no matter how trained the dog may be. If you find that insulting, you have a voice, by vote. If you feel really strongly about animal then DO SOMETHING IRL, NOT spewing crap on the interweb...

@PikaChuBaby91 I'm not gonna tell you how to feel about killing another being you had a chance to save. Not at all gonna tell you about that. Imagine if you got kicked in the shin and your mom said, "need to go to the shelter". Sorry, I find a quality in compassion to lesser beings. If you didn't care, no one cares, believe that much is truth.

 And you realize that people call animal control to have their very OWN pets taken away. Personal responsibility would be the best to deter the overpopulation problems. Did you bring home an animal after your visit?

Bless you for the work you do in our city. I hope there will be a day when you, or anyone else who works with pets has to put down so many due to careless handling by humans.

It breaks my heart to see all these darling dogs who are waiting for their furever home.  I hope they all find it before they are euthanised.
