I really enjoed all of your videos that you have put on the internet I find them very educational and inlightening. I am 1 week post op and I decied to look to u tube for encouragement and found you. What has inspired you to give so much and to share? Do you find it more fulfilling and motivating to do the videos? I am a little shy and would like to be more like you, do you have some advice.
I've been watching your progress and I'm so happy for you. I had my wls in december and I'm down 85 lbs so far. I started at 328 and am now down to 243, I still have another 43-45 to go. I feel so much better. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Keep up the good work.
girl you look great I had WLS on March 16, 2009 I weigh 288 and now I'm down to 216.. I feel great and you look great if you don't mind what pants size were you before and after.. Keep up the good work....
Thanks for the video, but my surgeon said that the rapid weight los was 6-9 months, but the RNY will still have malabsorbion and your pouch still is not at it's largest until at least 12-18 months. My PCP also stated that the malabsorbion is at least 12-18 months (because of the antibiotics). You will still lose due to the RNY if you follow the rules, just not as rapidly. I do get the what you're saying. Thanks for making this video! *hugs*
I hear ya about phasing into 'regular' diet. I'm 31.5 weeks out and don't have a shake every single day anymore. My weight is very slow coming off now, but my clothes sizes are still going down. Confusing and yet frustrating. But still good.
I am panicky about how close I am to goal, as well. Great advice on savoring the moment.

Abby,
I happened to put the same name on a video I recorded yesterday. I thought attaching it might be a nice alternative to recording the same ideas here.
Thanks for sharing your story.
Sincerely,
Richard

I love your insight into the process. Just had RNY on 1/26 and find a lot of support and enthusiasm from your vlog. Keep it up!
