NORTON WAS ABOUT 36 AND WASHED UP AT THIS POINT. IN HIS LAST FIGHT BEFORE THIS, COONEY KO'D 38 YEAR OLD WASHED UP RON LYLE. THESE WINS DIDN'T PROVE MUCH. BUT EVEN IN HIS PRIME, NORTON HAD TROUBLE WITH DEVASTATING PUNCHERS. SO COONEY MAY HAVE KO'D A YOUNGER NORTON AS WELL.

Well Cooney was past his prime for sure but the left hook Cooney landed on George in round 1 would have dropped many fighters. Cooney was clean and in good shape for the Foreman fight but yeah he was past his true prime. So was Foreman though.
