Do you actually know the purpose of austerity? Austerity isn't going to pay back any loans, austerity is to make sure you won't default on your future loans. 3-4 times the amount? Are you insane, if Cyprus was able to pay back 1-1 ratio after austerity we wouldn't even be having this conversation. Forget the media, do a little research on basic simple economics.

u obliously don't know what r u talking about..make a research,google "profit of northerns countries from Greece and crisis" and u will see that these countries make a huge profit from the interests of the money they lend Greece and portugal, etc.just germany has earn about 300 million the last 2 years just from greece.and u seriously talkin about lack of honesty and hard work..who are u to make this judgement? u really blaming people for an economic problematic situation that is becoming global
