Vertical Steam Boiler & PM Research 6CI Steam Engine Demo

See more of this project at WWW.RCDON.COM !!! This video demonstrates the operation of a small horizontal steam engine and vertical steam boiler. The engine was built from a casting kit supplied by PM Research Inc. out of Wellsville NY. IT took 75 hours to machine the castings and construct the 32 pound, ¼ HP engine. The boiler was made from 6" copper pipe and has 31 "fire tube" boiler tubes. The boiler has 420 sq in of heating surface and a working pressure of 100 PSI.
