@littlenam5: you never touch ANY species after birth without plastic gloves or some type of barrier between your skin & the offspring. If you do, the mother may not care for the offspring or may even kill it. When my dogs gave birth, we were at their babies as soon as they cleaned them off. Lol a fox that I used to feed gave birth in my backyard & she didn't mind me being with her pups at all.
Oan: this was a beautiful birth! I remember when my colby had hers. They are beautiful.

@hoode215 if the pupps 5week old and bite the mother nipples rather then sucking on it, can you feed them with warm water & bread?? haven't tried yet. any suggestion?

if you where breast feeding and it hurt would you feed your kid that? :) whip her nips down with some luke warm water put some vasiline on them nips she will live or try some formula. The pups need that milk its important!
