Sakura Con 2009 - The Slants concert

We saw the slants as one of the Concerts! They were very good! This was my first live concert! *screams*

Hm.... possibly....Hm.... I can't remember what I was wearing... but I do recall having someone with this big camera coming and then he left to listen to the Garugamesh... I was sitting there talking with someone... who also had a camera... I think and was dressed all in black... He (you?) addressed them right away and told them great show. They waved and all that... were you talking with someone sitting at the front of the line maybe wearing cat ears... with somewhat long blond hair?

Very good choice of band for your first live gig:). Since I first discovered The Slants at Kumoricon 2008, I have seen them Seven times live, and have become friends with the band. Keep up to date with their website, because they have a new album coming out later this year:)! Do you have anymore footage from this show? If you do, please let me know, I'd like to get a copy of it:).

I am sorry, I have up all that I got. T_T I wish my camera would have had more. They were very good! I am hoping that they may be at next Sakura con! *crosses fingers hopefully* Thank you for the tip also. They do seem like very nice people.

Yeah, same here. I hope that they'll be at Sakura for a third time as well. They are nice, if you see them at one of their booths at a convention, just walk right up to them and say hi:). They seem to be more up to date with their myspace page, they're actual website is beeing updated. By the way, feel free to check out a couple of amv's I've made with "Korkoro", and "Welcome To Doomtown".

*nods* They are really good. I enjoyed the concert. They just seemed so kind. For one of the autographing sessions, the one that happened right after the Garugamesh concert... I was the first person in line for that... Before it actually opened they were mingling and talking with the people in the lines... I wanted to get my picture taken with them... but was too shy to ask...

I'd love to look them up! And thank you for the friendship!

THis was a fun concert. The Slants and Girugamesh both did great jobs. gggghBy the time it was over I had lost my voice, my feet hurt like hell and I was soaked with sweat.

Well, next time you see them, don't be afraid to ask. Even if one of the members is in a bad mood, they'll still be more than happy to take a pic with you:). I wonder if we saw each other in the line? I was the fourth or fifth person in the line for the auto session, I left before the Garugamesh show, to get a good spot. I was dressed in all black with long hair, and had an Iced Earth t-shirt on:).

The Slants played in 2008 and 2009, but no guest goes to Sakuracon every year. It just depends on what is happening in the convention world ^^

I didn't know anyone from that list...save for the Slants...which I know now. Do the Slants go every year?
