Casa Tango in Salida, Colorado, held its Grand Opening Milonga Weekend, September 25-27, 2009. The dance space was originally built as a Slovakian club house in the early 1900's when Salida was a booming railroad and mining center. The town is in the beautiful Arkansas River Valley and is surrounded by Colorado's tallest mountains. Casa Tango offers Tango lessons and milongas with dancers traveling from Denver, Colorado Springs, Glenwood Springs, Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
