I am doing this exact song for Jazz band and I'm the Flugelhorn soloist. I have to say this: I took a lot of inspiration from Thad, while changing stuff to make it my own :) A lot of people say it's expressive, so maybe I'll upload it soon of me playing it :)

I just have to sit down when I play this song - It is so beautiful and relaxing and so expressive. My son was so inspired by this arrangement that he is auditioning it for college

Love the dreamy, romantic feeling this gives.
The melody is so pretty...the images are lovely, as always.
I have been longing for the sea lately so all the wonderful pictures are close to my heart.

I sure appreciate the kind feedback and ideas to think about. A dear friend has been talking about "the romantic life" - not as in seeking *a* romance - but in a kind of lifestyle - an approach to living (hope that makes sense).

Very hard for me not to comment on this one. Wish I had been born earlier and experienced the great bands and dancing. REAL DANCING! Lovely

Thanks for your comment! I love the big bands like Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman etc. I love this song for the emotion I feel when I hear it :-)
