  • The video footage here is (half of) a Maniac Mansion speedrun that I did 4 years ago. It's ok that you used it, but you should acknowledge who made it and where you got it from.

  • I thought I did, if you check the description. I was under the impression that user had done the run, but if you're sure it's yours, I suggest you take it up with him. In the meantime, I can change the credit to something else, just let me know if your Youtube account is fine. Sorry about the mixup, as I always try to give props where they are due.

  • should propably mention that maniac mansion is also available on the ibm pc, the c64 and the apple ][.

  • True, but the music in this video is from the NES version, and usually I keep my descriptions specific to the version featured.

  • If you get a chance you should listen to the soundtrack for this game from the Commodore 64. Same songs, but the C64 SID chip was capable of sooooo much more than the NES sound card. Still a great soundtrack, but the C64 version will always hold a much closer place in my heart than the NES one :)

  • Although I haven't played the C64 version, I'm not surprised that it sports better renditions. Oh well, I went with the release that I thought would be familiar with most, although for a game like this one it's hard to tell.
