I find it so amusing that everyone found Miller uproariously funny as long as conservatives and Republicans were the punchlines, but the minute he switches targets, he becomes a no-talent hack. Intelligent comedy connnoiseurs from both sides of the political debate recognize Miller's zingers are just as sharp despite the shift in his aim.

Nope, he really quit the humor and wit when he tried to become Limbaugh 2.0. His radio show was good for the first year or two but then he just threw any sanity away and just delivers cheap, corporate, pop punditry. It is sad, really. Prior to about 2008 or so, he was brilliant.

@musiccalgary Wrong, every source, from Izzy's wikipedia page to Slash's autobiography recount how Izzy left the band once he had sobered up, stating "When you're fucked up, you're more likely to put up with things you wouldn't normally put up with." He had also had enough with Axl's shenanigans (The riverport riot, being late to gigs etc). He also believed the band had gotten too big, having somewhere along the line forgotten about what made the band great in the first place.

@gss2131 If it’s witty and humorous then it’s witty and humorous regardless of who the punch line maybe. Miller is only a 20%’er when it comes to wit and humor. The other 80% of the time its just filler talk, much like what’s on a one hit wonder CD. I know comedians and Miller is no comedian; he’s more of an advocate. But hey, he does have his audience on Fox News and AM radio
