Gladys Knight and the Pips Southern Soul at it's finest. Good memories listening to her music whether my mom playing it or hearing the songs in other people's houses and stopping to sing the song outside with my friends. Golden Age Black Music is where it is at for me.

she's wonderful... i'm rather sad though that she let herself get sucked into the "in" thing... she was so beautiful natural. but then... i think this of all people these days (botox n' all) wish i could see her today as natural as she would have been like Billy Holiday etc.... but she's fantastic no matter what! love you Gladys!
