had it done Nov of 09 already back to normal hopefully u dr. suggested some pre surgury rehab it made a huge difference for me, if not oh well but my suggestions to start doing rehab exercises as soon as u can and dont be scared of a little pain i used to take a pill before therapy and then keep icing like crazy i would do it every night it will naturally be swollen fo a few months but good luck

well i never got an acl surgery but i did get my wisdom teeth removed and i think i know how you feel
