1. 10:30am EST: A Westbound LIRR Train #6609 to Huntington crosses the Landing Ave. crossing with Cab Car #5010 leading. Total cars on this train is 6 cars including the leading cab car with EMD DE30AC #418 at the end.

2. 10:32am EST: An Eastbound LIRR Train #6608 to Port Jefferson departs Smithtown,NY and the engineer didn't blow the horn until about 50 feet or less from the Landing Ave. crossing. Leading locomotive is EMD DE30AC #413 along with 4 cars.

  • @SCL7500 It's a DE30AC, the cool thing is only the LIRR have these engines.

  • Not sure if you can see it here, but i'm always surprised when I see trains that come through here have some serious banking on the turn there
