William and Kate tied the knot on Friday in one of the most watched events the world has ever seen, but what happened after the ceremony we all saw on TV? The new Duke and Duchess kissed on the balcony not once, but twice, and afterward they partied it up and posed for photos just like any normal newlyweds — that is, if your official wedding pictures look anything like these.

Standing in Buckingham Palace's throne room, William and Catherine snapped several professional portraits with their family members while enjoying the queen's lavish reception. 650 guests dined on a menu that included William's chocolate biscuit cake and the main wedding cake which was made from 17 individual fruit cakes. Prince Charles and Prince William both reportedly gave heartfelt speeches during the lunch, before the newlyweds took off in an Aston Martin convertible with a license plate that read "JU5T WED."

William and Catherine drove to Clarence House for a costume change before their second reception of the day: Prince Charles's soiree at Buckingham Palace. Kate showed up wearing a second, strapless Alexander McQueen gown with white angora shrug that was more party-ready, while Will put switched into a tux for the dinner and dancing. Even Kate's sister Pippa swapped out her outfits, as she stepped out in a gorgeous green Alice Temperley gown for the shindig.

300 guests showed up to party past 3am, as pop singer Ellie Goulding entertained the crowd. Prince Harry delivered a funny best man speech that poked fun at his older brother, and supposedly even did the robot on the dance floor! He left the party early at 1:30 for an afterparty at the Goring Hotel where he met up with his on-again off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Sorry Pippa and Harry fans, but Harry and Chelsy reportedly made out during the evening, and left together at 6am.

As for William and Catherine, they didn't let a late night slow down their wedding weekend. After spending their first night as a married couple at Buckingham Palace, they were all smiles the following morning as they held hands and made their way to a waiting helicopter.
